FIELD NOTES AND CONTEXT

Portraits of Noise is built upon a multidisciplinary perspective rooted in the dialogue between garment, movement, and body. It allows for the use of diverse expressive languages ​​to articulate the concept, enabling other creators to contribute their own interpretations from their respective disciplines. One such medium is the visual essay—grounded in humanistic thought and created through photography and the analog manipulation of performance imagery—which fosters a more deliberate reflection on the interaction of the garment among the moving dancers.

CONCEPT

We live in a society immersed in noise, where interlocutors sometimes speak loudly, at other times remain silent; occasionally they do not listen, while at other times they choose to hear only their own echo. Through a conceptual development grounded in sociological documentation, a narrative of visual codes centered on the "society of noise" is presented.
