CONCEPT
iSOLATED bODIESis a visual story published by PANSYMAG, based on a concept conceived and developed by David González. In an increasingly hyperconnected digital society, human contact and genuine closeness to one another seem to be gradually disappearing. Electronic devices allow us to observe each other constantly, yet the time we spend in physical human connection continues to diminish. Through a series of textile pieces and the expressive language of the human body, the project presents a reflective narrative on the importance of connecting with others and on how the embrace, as a symbol of union, has often been replaced by new forms of interaction in the contemporary era, where bodies spend most of their time in isolation.
KEY WORDS
